New Day 1

Ok, so I've been away from doing YRG for nearly 3 weeks - yes I am a slug. But recently I picked up a book that contains some of the writings of the Stoic philosopher Seneca. In an essay entitled On the Shortness of Life he wrote: "It is not that we have a short time to live but that we waste a lot of it. Life is long enough, and a sufficiently generous amount has been given to us for the highest achievements if it were all well invested" I thought, "you know, he was right". So to… Continue

The Beginning

Hello everyone, Firstly allow me to introduce myself - my name is Mart, I'm 24 years old and I'm from Newcastle in England (although I currently live in London). I got YRG about a week ago having heard DDP talking about it on a wrestling Shoot Interview - I've always found his story to be an inspiring one and, even more than that, a believable one - so I thought I would look into it. The amazing transformations on the YRG website convinced me to give it a chance. Until recently I was an avid g… Continue

Well, I brought yrg about a month and a half ago and I have been doing it consistantly for about 2 weeks. I haven't really noticed any changes. I feel as if maybe I am being impatient. I also sometimes feel as if I am doing the workouts incorrectly. I am trying to change my eating habits because I usually skip breakfast. It is really hard for me at this time but I don't intend to quit. I want to be more healthy now than I ever was and I also want to look good. Currently I am about 90 Lbs over m… Continue

I'd Rather Die...

I have made the YRG workout my own. I did it without the DVD just now, and y'know what? That was exactly what I've needed. Because YRG is made for holding back the hands of time, but I'm 20 years old! Following the DVD, there are so many movements that are too slow and too restful to bring my heart rate up to around 160 beats per minute. When I do it myself though? I felt my heart pounding like never before! And unlike my "return" to YRG last night, tonight I found something astounding. My body… Continue

Returning to Form

For the first time since election day, I did my YRG today. Quite frankly Cutters, I've been going through a lot of bad stuff. Namely that it's looking like I'm going to have to take a few years off from going to college, in addition to the fact that I get quite lonely sometimes, from a romantic standpoint. I don't know what I'm going to do, and I've been going through a bit of a depression because of all this, but where there's danger, there's opportunity. I'm breaking myself apart and remaking… Continue

What is YRG?

YRG... is "Yoga for Regular Guys/Gals"

We don't call it Yoga, we call it YRG!

Think of it like this... "if yoga was a bicycle then YRG would be a Harley... they both have two wheels, but that's where the similarities end..."

Go to YRG Workout.com For More!

DDP and Dr. Craig S. Aaron (holistic sports chiropractor and applied kinesiologist) the Yoga- Doc created a new exercise program by combining traditional yoga positions with old-school calisthenics, core strengthening exercises and slow motion isometric muscle activation called Dynamic Resistance . The result is a workout which increases strength, endurance, flexibility, mental clarity and reduces stress ( in your mind and on your joints).

Here's a bonus: YRG workouts can even help you strengthen and rehabilitate those abused joints, burn fat and increase your cardiovascular capacity!

In order to obtain the health and fitness benefits of YRG, a normal person would need to do 20-40 minutes of cardio 3-4 times per week, lift weights for 45-60 minutes 3 times per week, and stretch for at least 10 minutes/workout .

YRG delivers the goods in just 3 to 4 workouts per week. You choose which of the three easy to follow workouts based on your ability and how much time you have. It's a total body workout, and it's all the cardio you need.

All this without a gym membership... hell, YRG just might be the best workout on the planet!!!

To achieve your Goals...
Make this your Montra ...
To get what we WANT ... you often times have to do what you don't WANT to do... but we know we have to do... if we REALLY wanna get what we WANT!

Welcome To YRG Universe!

Think of this site as your own personal YRG homepage in the YRG internet community. You get your own page, blog and friends list. Upload pictures of your progress and meet new friends. Be and become inspired by others who are truly "Owning Their Lives!"

Even if you don’t post them, TAKE THE PICTURES!

You want to track your progress? Check out our guide HERE. It's important that you take the right pictures and track your measurements. You'll feel great within a few weeks of starting YRG, but you'll really want to track your progress so you know just how good you really are doing. That will help you stay inspired down the road.

UPLOAD THE PICTURES!

1. Click Photos on the Main Menu above.
2. Click +Add Photos in the upper right corner. (look for the green + sign)
3. Use the numbered Browse buttons to upload multiple photos if you have them.
4. Click the Upload Photos button. It may take some time for your photos to be processed.
5. Once they are uploaded you will see the Edit Photo Information screen. It's important that you title your pictures, "Day 1 Catcher" for example.
6. Click the Save Changes button. This will attach your information to each photo and take you to the My Photos page.
7. Click My Page on the main menu to go to your page.

That's it, do it again in 30 days. You don't want to take your weight and measurement too often, as your body will fluctuate a little, it's easy to get discouraged that way. Try and save your weigh-ins for the 30 day mark too.
